In 2013, my husband and I started an organic vegetable farm together in Southern Wisconsin on leased family land. We began a small CSA that first year on a leap of faith and have been focused on building community through CSA ever since.
Supplying veggies directly to families, helping them learn how to use these veggies and become better cooks through weekly newsletters, offering storage tips and advice through personal emails, and having ample opportunity to celebrate the bountiful Wisconsin summers on the farm: we have found unyielding love for our CSA over the years. It’s the perfect business model for us and we love the friendships we’re constantly building through the farm.
